Following Trump’s historical victory last Tuesday night, two small time victories occurred in Virginia. Virginians vetoed two candidates running to take down confederate monuments, in the town. One of these is the Jefferson Davis Monument and the monument still stands, today. Mayor Write was defeated on Tuesday night after diminishing his campaign by announcing his intended removal of one of these monuments.
