Robert E. Lee Monument Will Stay in Charlottesville – City Council Votes to Leave it In Place

A counsel member in Charlottesville wanted their Robert E. Lee monument removed and a few others also filed motions, but every time one was filed it didn’t pass. This is going to save the tax payers a lot of money in legal and other fees. The monument is just going to stay where it is which is what was voted.
