A bill filed Tuesday by a trio of N.C. House Republicans seeks to drop a provision in the state constitution that prohibits secession. And that map was from 2014. From what I’m reading, the sentiment is becoming more popular with each election cycle. The latest survey notes that 1 in 3 Californians now support secession; up from 20% in 2014.
