Chugiak High School, in Anchorage, Alaska, has banned the display of the Confederate flag at the school for any reason outside of displays for educational purposes.. Principal David Legg announced the decision after a widely circulated photograph of students posed with a version of the flag created controversy and drew complaints of racism in recent weeks.
