Some motorcycle clubs have a bad name because of their roaring bikes and tough looking outfits. This particular group of men and woman did a remarkable honor to make the long journey to honor one of our countries lost American heros.
I salute those men on their bikes to do what they do to honor our American heros.
So true. Anyone who has seen combat can feel a kinship with others that also have, regardless of what side they were on, or how long ago the other fought. Any vet, however he or she served, has within them a certain responsibility to other vets and those now in uniform. This can stretch beyond what the civilian can perhaps easily grasp. I’ve known my fellow American vets to hug former NVA (North Vietnamese Army) vets when they traveled back “in-country.” Those of us in uniform back then in uniform can today perhaps understand that the other guys were also fighting for something they believed in. There are some bonds that defy easy understanding.
