Parker Space is a New Jersey Assemblyman, a farmer, and a country music fan. His Facebook photo of himself standing in front of a Confederate flag adorned with Hank Williams Jr.’s face has raised controversy. The photo was taken at a concert and belonged to another fan. This adds to previous controversies involving Space abstaining from a vote about the Confederate flag, and the fact there is a groundhog on his farm named after Stonewall Jackson. Space has left the photo up, saying he means no offense, but simply likes the flag because of the singer’s likeness on it.
