Stafford county officials dismissed an appeal that would disallow anti-American zealots to fly an oversized confederate flag near I-95. The officials claimed that the giant discriminatory symbol is the flag of a state and therefore exempt from the law which would allow regulation. The lawyer representing the appealing party says that the Confederacy is not a state as recognized by the ordinance. Also the flag used wasn’t one of the confederacys official flag.
