A Stafford County zoning board decided to not hold a public hearing about whether or not a controversial confederate flag should be removed. Despite significant public interest and concern the board decided they did not have jurisdiction to overturn a previous decision by the county to let the flag stay. Opponents were angry and vowed to continue the fight.
