Christy Coleman is an African American woman and the CEO of the American Civil War Museum in Richmond, Virginia. Since the United States is struggling with its past of racial discrimination, Coleman is using her position as an opportunity to retell the story of the Civil War. Her main goal is to tell about the Civil War from different points of views. She believes that if you can change the way people perceive issues, they will being to look different.
