Back on display in N.C.: Blockade runner dioramas are rich with riveting detail

Ragged first national Confederate Flag - the original Stars and Bars was flown from 4th March 1861 - 1st May 1863 and was replaced by the more noted Stars and Bars because the original was difficult to differentiate from the Stars and Stripes in battle.

A civil war museum located in North Carolina has a ton of cool and unique events on display. They are mini displays of some of the action that went down during the civil war. Some of the models on display were from a museum that was open in the 60s to the 80s.
