
Students are being suspended from a high school in Pennsylvania for wearing items depicting the Confederate flag, which has been banned. Meanwhile, some parents are considering pulling their kids out of said school because their kids do not feel safe. One student, Noah Leech, says he wears it as a symbol of his family, not as a racist symbol, as the Confederate is commonly viewed as today. Another student pointed out that while she wasn’t bothered by Leech sporting the Confederate flag, she grew concerned when more students began sporting the symbol.
