Groundbreaking set for Eisenhower memorial in Washington, D.C.

Ground has been broken for an Eisenhower memorial in Washington DC. Critics did not like the size or the cost of the monument. A lot of people are very excited over the new memorial and there are people that are not interested in it. The memorial was approved in 1999, but opposition prevented it from being built.
