SCV is an organization dedicated to honoring the memories of confederate soldiers. This group is working to preserve confederate heritage in alternative ways to displaying the confederate flag, which has increasingly come under attack. For example, a flag from the Army of the Trans-Mississippi was recently erected at a memorial site.
