The North Bend school board had met for the first time since the Confederate flag and symbols of it were banned. One reason for the ban was due to two people fighting and one of them wearing a hat with the confederate flag on it. The district responded to that fight by banning the flag. Some people in the community think it is an assault on free speech top ban a flag.
