The 1856 locomotive Texas spent 90 years on display in the basement of the Cyclorama building in Grant Park, Georgia. A historically significant railroad train, it was part of the Great Locomotive Chase in 1862. Since December 2015, the engine has undergone a $500,000 restoration. The Texas will be ready for its new home at the Atlanta History Center in early 2017.
