A decision has been reached regarding a controversial Confederate monument in downtown Tampa. Hillsborough County commissioners had previously voted 4-3 against moving the statue, which some defend as simply honoring southern heritage. But public pressure for commissioners to reverse their original decision has prompted a second vote of 4-2 in favor of relocating.
