The current controversy with Confederate Monuments has created an even more odd partnership, between Southern Secessionists and Black Confederate Activists. The two groups are partnering to erect more monuments to the contribution of blacks to the Confederacy during the Civil War. While this will certainly raise a few eyebrows, there is little detail as to what these monuments will showcase and if they will address whether the slave/free person was a soldier or something else.
