I can loosely agree with the president about the country losing and taking away our history with the removal of Confederate statues. The statues are not symbols anymore of hatred, but of a past many people forgot “The American Civil War” it was the bloodiest American war and both sides should never be forgotten. The statues are a symbol no matter the side they fought on they stood up for what they believed was right.
