In incredible footage of a 1914 Confederate veterans’ reunion in Jacksonville, Fla., a former slave, Jeff Mabry, is introduced. These reunions included former camp servants or camp slaves. Mabry doesn’t seem to be wearing an uniform, but he dons at least one reunion ribbon, which suggests that this was not his first reunion.
