Our Nation’s history may have some good moments and bad moments, but overall it’s our history. Just like the rest the world, we have a past, and our past is what makes us who we are today. Even as humans, all have some type of event we wish didn’t happen, but we can’t just act like it never did happen. When they took down a monument in New Orleans, there were people who died for that, and we can’t take that away. It’s apart of our nations history. We can’t change the past, we must learn from it.
