Editorial: Another round in the endless fight over the Confederacy

The debate over how to handle Confederate monuments residing on public property has been complex. Because no individual holds a constitutional right to either the presence or absence of a public statue, there isn’t a set way to handle objects such as a large rebel flag in Stafford County, or black tarps covering statues of Confederate figures in Charlottesville.
