Mississippi State University has favored changing their state flag owing to a part of it being the Confederate battle flag in its design. The Mississippi Legislature has not chosen to take action on this. The focus at MSU will be directed toward meeting the needs of their all-time record student enrollment this fall by not flying the flag on their campuses.
