A division of a group known as the Sons of Confederate Veterans in North Carolina has raised their first roadside memorial battle flag as part of a project that they sponsor known “Flags Across the Carolinas”. The flag is atop a 40 foot pole and is currently located in Moore County just off of the Jefferson Davis Highway.
