UNLV Campus Newspaper Changing ‘Rebel Yell’ Name

A newspaper is changing its name to move away from its Confederacy roots by changing its name. Many that worked for the newspaper thought the name being tied to the Confederacy was inappropriate. The name change has been praised my lawmakers. The paper reports that its revenues and funding were down and made the change to help the paper survive.
