Lawmakers in Missouri create extremely different suggestions designed to respond to discussion over Confederate monuments in the state. Senator Nasheed from St. Louis proposes that all Confederate monuments in Missouri are transferred to Higginsville, and that Confederate flags be disallowed from state property. On the other hand, Osceola’s Representative Love proposes that there first be a public hearing and review process before any changes to the monuments are made.
