One of Army’s Most Heroic Dogs Is Finally Honored

When it comes to army stories, there are few as unique and remarkable as the story of Chips, a dog that was unleashed on a machine gun nest during world war 2. Chips attacked the nest and in doing so, allowed his comrades to advance. The most remarkable part about it is that the dog survived the encounter with multiple enemies coming down on him.
